THE GEORGE EDWARDES MUSICAL COMEDY SOCIETY
The chief aim of The George Edwardes Musical Comedy Society is to promote an interest in the almost forgotten musical comedies of the late-Victorian and Edwardian era, in particular those staged in London by George Edwardes at the two theatres he managed and made so famous, Daly's and the Gaiety. We run an ongoing series of events at which we present the early musical comedies in contexts which evoke the historical period in which they were created. We would be delighted to see you at one of our forthcoming events: please see Events page.
